Social rehabilitation project for kids with cerebral palsy supported by the Rotary Foundation
Kid, You Can!
The greatest privilege given to a person from above is to be the cause of a good change in someone’s life
Kid you can — is a project aimed at verticalizing children with cerebral palsy and learning an innovative rehabilitation methodology.
About Project
Three years after, the project has become an international activity, which involves clubs from Russia, Armenia, India, USA and Turkey.
Within this time, instructors and parents have recognized how much the children’s health has improved: not only their mobility, but also their social and cognitive skills have improved…
Gratitude to all of the Rotary Foundation contributors whose donations have made this all possible!!!
While working and training, we unexpectedly created a professional community of instructors who enthusiastically share their experience, cooperate in resolving challenges, and help each other. More than 30 rehabilitators from three countries are in touch every day.
Video with instructors (the choice is not big, whatever is available, you can choose not all of them, if not the format at all) Thanks to Rotary. The third round of the project, which has been organized with the support of Rotarians from India, USA and Turkey, will not only help specific centers, but will also ensure the holding of the First Rotary Conference of Rehab!!!
About Us
Anna Tumanova
District Rotary Foundation Chair
Project Coordinator
"Three years ago we revised our approach to the project of rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy. We realised from experience that simply buying and handing over equipment often means wasted funds. So we rebuilt the project. In three years we have acquired 30 partner centres from Krasnodar to Vladivostok, established ourselves in Armenia, found partners in Georgia and Belarus. At the end of
December 2023 we gathered in Moscow for the first Conference of Children’s Rehabilitation Practitioners with the support of the Rotary Clubs of Russia and the Rotary Foundation. After the fantastic success, we plan to make it an annual event"

Roman Trifonov
Sometimes we really do face the fact that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Everything is somehow gray and dull.
But based on my experience, I will tell you honestly — Romochka surprises us almost every day. That is, it seems that nothing is changing. And at some point he gives such a big jump that you understand that all this is not in vain. Therefore, you cannot doubt your child, even if the doctor tells you that I am not sure about the prospects, I am not sure that there can be any positive dynamics. The doctor may not be sure.
And I am confident in my child. And I believe that every parent should be confident in their child.
